Product Marketing Manager

The Role:

The Product Marketing Manager will leverage buyer and market intelligence and creativity to help generate leads and equip the sales team through effective product positioning and messaging and content creation. 

This position will work with key departments throughout LLamasoft including product management, customer success and senior leadership, as well as customers and prospects. The key responsibility is to understand the buyers’ industry and problems and LLamasoft product positioning in order to create effective messaging and content to drive increased market share and customer retention.

Job Description:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of software benefits and business use cases
  • Work alongside Product Managers to orchestrate launch plans and GTM activities for product launches in order to meet launch goals. Work with marketing communication and PR teams to execute launch plans
  • Work with the Product Management and Customer Success teams to articulate compelling product messaging across written and digital communication
  • Work closely with Product Managers to continually re-evaluate product/solution messaging and communicate product updates
  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of LLamasoft solutions to the sales team and develop sales tools to drive prospects through the sales cycle and retain and grow customer engagement
  • Lead a cross-functional team to create buyer personas and customer journey maps
  • Support demand generation through content creation, including presentations, video scripts, ebooks and case studies
  • Co-manage competitive market intelligence and win/loss analysis programs

The Qualifications:

  • BA or higher in marketing, marketing, or technology
  • 7-10 years marketing experience, preferably in the Supply Chain market
  • Pragmatic Marketing, CEB/Gartner or similar product marketing methodology experience a plus
  • Demonstrated success in writing, product launch planning, positioning and translating technical concepts into business-level information
  • Exceptional communication skills: written and oral
  • Self-starter, motivated, responsible and accountable
