Director of Product Management - Visibility

The Role:

Director of Product Management - Visibility will have broad responsibility to drive market growth and channel penetration for LLamasoft’s Visibility products.  You will work together with Delivery, Sales, and Marketing leaders to build go to market plans for new product launches and version releases and have line of business responsibilities for execution. As leader of the go to market strategy you will be responsible for market opportunity & trend analysis and business investment & revenue growth plans.  You will support your product manager(s) in realization of the overall strategy by through their development of: roadmaps, sales and marketing collateral, and release planning. 

As the LLamasoft market leader, you are expected to present at conferences and webinars and build awareness for LLamasoft products through engaging thought leaders, analysts, and partners.  Through market interaction and stakeholder discussions, work to set the product positioning and pricing strategy for Visibility products to enable success within the completive landscape.  Track sales and adoption data to monitor and report on business plan progression.

Job Description:

In order for this position to be successful, you will leverage groups across the Company to achieve the following objectives:

  • Manage a business plan to expand customer usage, increase customer penetration, and grow product revenue
  • Engage sales and delivery stakeholders to enable success in sales cycles and customer maturity
  • Work with sales to develop product pricing model and distribution strategy
  • Manage Product Manager(s) and support the delivery of key items
  • Engage analysts and industry thought leaders to raise awareness of LLamasoft solutions
  • Present and conferences and webinars
  • Support delivery team for customer implementations
  • Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders, and act as a mediator, plus lead, coach and motivate proactively

The Qualifications: 

We are looking for someone who is passionate about data analytics & visualization and who has familiarity integrating with or developing products within ERP ecosystems.

  • 10+ years of experience in the areas of system integration, data management, systems integration, advanced analytics, or data driven enterprise software systems.
  • Role would benefit from:
    • Familiarity with supply chain design and optimization / simulation
    • Understanding of business challenges with complex, global supply chains
    • Experience implementing and configuring enterprise packaged software
  • Knowledge of data management, ETL, and data analytics strategies and tools
  • Business focused mindset and experience commercializing products
  • Need to be a creative thinker and be willing to think outside of the box
  • US Citizen a plus but not required
